Vacancy at Bersted Parish Council

We are looking for 1 new Parish Councillor—could it be you?  

YOU need to be able to give up one evening a month to attend Parish

Council meetings, and in return you will receive the satisfaction of

knowing that you are helping your local community

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and a British subject or a

citizen of the Commonwealth or European Union and must satisfy at

least one of the following:

· be a local government elector for the Parish of Bersted

 ·  have, during the whole of the previous 12 months, occupied land or other property in the parish, either as owner or tenant

 ·  have, during the whole of the previous 12 months, had your principal or only place of work in the parish

 · have resided in the parish during the whole of the previous 12 months

The Parish Council meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 7.00pm at the Bersted Jubilee Hall, Jubilee Fields, Chalcraft Lane, Bersted PO21 5TU.

The new Councillor will hold office until the next local elections in 2019.
